Meet Bryan and Jacqueline Vaughan…
“We moved to Charlotte from Richmond Va not knowing almost anyone. After having 2 kids, fitness and taking care of ourselves had fallen by the wayside for convenience and laziness. Bryan’s abs had become a single ab. But we both had gained weight and didn’t know where to start to get back to form. Our diets consisted of pizza, double stuffed Oreos (Bryan’s favorite) and fast food. Jac’s cousin Anna invited us to a Saturday class where Jac originally went out after deliberating on whether to go or not. We were both so out of shape that we were rather embarrassed of where we had ended up. After that workout Jac decided to join immediately and convinced me to come to a class. After my first Saturday class I too was hooked. we decided to join as unlimited members with childcare. Jac did the Nutrition Challenge and lost something like 15 lbs in one month with the help of Steph and I also lost 15 lbs but because Jac purged the house of everything bad. We learned how to cook and prep healthy food that tastes amazing, started changing our taste preferences and even started drinking coffee black! We have continued to make gains in our fitness goals and Jac is even doing the Nutrition Challenge again this January and Bryan has goals to maybe, just maybe enter in his first CrossFit competition in 2020. We love CrossFit and we love 926."

Be open to learning regardless of your background and experience. Learn the movements and don’t get frustrated by doing lighter weight before you master the proper technique. Also, you get out what you put into this. There are a bunch of people here that are willing to help you on your fitness journey, you just have to ask.
